Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the tool. Generating or editing an image costs a set number of credits per image, which the model you pick decides. Upscaling an image is charged per megapixel of the finished result, so the output size you ask for sets the price. Video generation is charged per second of clip, and video upscaling per megapixel of output for every second of it. Every tool shows you the exact cost before you run anything, and the calculator above turns a budget into real job counts.
You do not need a subscription. On the Starter plan there is no monthly fee: you buy credits whenever you need them (4 cents each), with no recurring charge, and those credits never expire. A monthly plan is optional: it mainly lowers your price per credit and raises your concurrency, so it is worth it only if you use Upsampler regularly.
You actually have two kinds of credits. Credits you buy directly, either as a one-time purchase or through auto-refill, never expire and stay in your account until you use them. The monthly credits included with a paid plan are separate: they refresh on your billing date each month and do not roll over.
Yes. Sign in and buy them from your plan card on this page, anytime. The price per credit depends on your plan: Starter pays 4 cents, Pro pays 1.5 cents, Premium pays 1.3 cents, and Business pays just 1.2 cents per credit. Extra credits never expire, so you can stock up when you need them.
Yes. You can enable auto-refill in your billing settings. Set a credit threshold and a dollar amount, and when your balance drops below the threshold, credits are automatically topped up so your workflows are never interrupted.
Concurrent jobs is the number of tasks that can process at the same time; queue size is how many more can wait in line, starting automatically as slots free up. Starter runs 2 jobs with a queue of 25, Pro runs 4 with a queue of 50, Premium runs 6 with a queue of 75, and Business runs 15 with a queue of 100. If you hit your queue limit, upgrading raises both. Business customers can also contact us for custom limits.
Most image jobs (upscale, generate, edit) finish within a few seconds to under a minute. Video generation and video upscaling typically take longer, from under a minute for lightweight models or short clips to several minutes for premium models, longer durations, or higher target resolutions. Processing time depends on the model, output resolution, and current demand.
If a job fails because of an error on our end, the credits it used are automatically refunded to your account. You always see the exact cost before you run anything, and most tools cost only a few credits, so experimenting stays inexpensive. If credits are ever not returned after a failure, contact support and we will fix it right away.

All plans offer the same tools and models. The difference is in monthly included credits, the price per extra credit, and concurrency limits. Starter has no monthly fee and credits are pay-as-you-go (4 cents each). Pro ($15/mo) includes 1,000 credits at 1.5 cents per extra. Premium ($30/mo) includes 2,300 credits at 1.3 cents per extra. Business ($95/mo) includes 8,000 credits at just 1.2 cents per extra with the highest concurrency.
Yes, and you can do it yourself in one click from your billing page, with no need to email us. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period (a month), and you are never charged again after that. Credits you bought as one-time purchases stay in your account, but any unused monthly plan credits do not carry over to Starter.
Switching plans takes effect immediately, whether you upgrade or downgrade. You are charged the new plan's price right away and its monthly credits are added to your balance at once. The monthly credits you already have stay until the new plan's billing date, and credits you bought one-time always carry over. The remaining days of your old plan are not refunded or prorated.
All of your invoices and payment receipts are available on your billing page, where you can view and download them anytime. If you need a specific invoice re-sent or adjusted, email [email protected] and we will help.
Yes. If you cancel a subscription, you can request a refund within 7 days of your latest payment, as long as you have not used a significant portion of that month's credits. Unused credits from a one-time or auto-refill purchase can be refunded within 30 days. Credits that have already been spent are not refundable, and jobs that fail on our end are automatically credited back.
