OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

At Upsampler, the safety and integrity of our platform is a top priority. We have zero tolerance for the misuse of our AI tools to create, distribute, or promote harmful, illegal, or exploitative content. We take every abuse report seriously and act swiftly to investigate and address violations.

AUTOMATED SAFETY FILTERS

We employ multiple layers of automated safeguards across all of our Services—including both paid tools and free tools—to proactively detect, prevent, and remove prohibited content before it ever reaches users:

  • Prompt filtering: All text prompts submitted to image and video generation tools are evaluated using prohibited-content blocklists, pattern-matching rules, and advanced AI-powered content analysis before being sent to any AI model. Prompts that are determined to contain or imply prohibited content are rejected immediately and are not processed.
  • Pre-upload content scanning: Images and videos uploaded to the Services are scanned for prohibited content—including NSFW material, violence, and content involving minors—before processing begins. Uploads flagged by our automated moderation systems are blocked and not processed further.
  • Post-processing output scanning: AI-generated and AI-enhanced outputs are scanned for prohibited content after processing and before being delivered. Outputs that are flagged are blocked and not displayed or made available for download.
  • Provider-level safety filters: Our AI pipelines operate with all provider-level and model-level safety filters enabled. We do not disable, bypass, or weaken any safety mechanisms built into the AI models and services we use.
  • Continuous improvement: We continuously update and refine our automated filtering systems to address emerging threats, new bypass techniques, and evolving content policies.

While no automated system is infallible, we are committed to staying ahead of bad actors and maintaining a safe platform for all users.

WHAT TO REPORT

Please report any content or activity on the platform that you believe violates our Terms of Service, applicable law, or involves illegal activity. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content involving minors
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (including deepfakes)
  • Pornography or sexually explicit content
  • Hate speech, harassment, or threats
  • Content promoting violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Fraud, scams, or misleading content
  • Human trafficking or exploitation
  • Any other content that violates our Prohibited Activities policy

When submitting a report, please include as much detail as possible:

  • A description of the content or activity you are reporting
  • The URL or location where the content was found (if applicable)
  • Any relevant screenshots or evidence
  • Your contact information (optional, but helpful for follow-up)

HOW WE HANDLE REPORTS

All abuse reports are reviewed promptly by our team. Here is what you can expect:

  1. Acknowledgment: We aim to acknowledge receipt of your report as quickly as possible.
  2. Investigation: Our team will review the reported content and take appropriate action based on the severity and nature of the violation.
  3. Enforcement: Confirmed violations will result in immediate action, which may include removal of content, suspension or termination of the offending account, permanent bans, and reporting to law enforcement where required.
  4. Escalation: Reports involving CSAM or child exploitation are immediately escalated to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities. We cooperate fully with all legal investigations.

ENFORCEMENT AND CONSEQUENCES

Violations of our content policies result in swift and decisive action, including:

  • Immediate termination of the violator's account and access to all Services
  • Deletion of all associated User Content and generated images
  • Permanent ban preventing future account creation
  • Reporting to appropriate law enforcement agencies, including but not limited to the FBI, NCMEC, and local authorities
  • Full cooperation with legal investigations and proceedings
  • Potential legal action against the violator

We log IP addresses, device information, and usage patterns across all Services—including free tools used without an account—to prevent abuse and assist law enforcement when necessary.

NO RETALIATION

We will not retaliate against any user who makes a good-faith report of abuse or illegal content. Your safety and the safety of the broader community are what matter most.
